Welcome to my page. My name is Clarissa I am from Melbourne, Australia. I was saved by Jesus Christ in 2018 after thinking I was a Christian my whole life simply because I was raised in a Christian home. Although I thought I was, was convinced I was, the fact is, I was not. What I believed about Christianity and how I was living during those years did not line up with the Biblical description of what a true believer was.

The world wants to send you two messages; either live your life free or live your life in bondage to a God who tells you what to do. My friends, the world has twisted the gospel message - the reality is, is that those two things are flipped. Jesus Christ has opened the jail cell of sin and is extending His hand to you saying “Come follow me; I will give you life and freedom to the fullest.” If you want to experience true freedom, true peace, true contentment, true fulfilment - it is not found in the world; It is found in Jesus Christ and Him alone. "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32)

The Bible says that the heavens declare the glory of God, and the skies proclaim the work of His hands. God has made known to us, plainly, His eternal power and His divine nature and the things that have been made through creation and our conscience.

Who is Jesus? Why is a humble carpenter from Nazareth 2000 years ago still preached about today? Why do we hear more people blaspheme the name of Jesus daily more than any other word? Not even atheists dispute that Jesus was a real man - only His deity. So, who is He? He was more than just a man. He was a man that told us He was the unique, begotten, incarnate son of God. If He is who He claimed to be then nothing else matters but conforming our lives to that truth. We must ask ourselves, why would God lower Himself to a fleshly man? He lived like a man among us, fought the temptations we fight, lived a sinless life, just to die?

Jesus taught us that it is not just our outward actions that convict us but our inner thoughts. He lifted man's ethics to the highest plain, that only He ever lived. Jesus was charged with 3 convictions when He was put to death; 1) that He loved sinners, 2) He healed on the Sabbath day, and 3) He claimed to be the Son of God. He forgave sin, which no prophet ever did. He had authority over nature, and it obeyed Him. He had authority over disease, He raised the dead, and casted out demons. But after all that, look at the death He died. He chose to enter into humanity at a time where perhaps one of the cruelest, torturous methods for execution existed. They stripped Him, whipped Him, put a crown of thorns on His head, mocked Him, spat on Him. He dragged and lifted the cross, they nailed His hands and feet. He didn't yell or squirm or scream. Instead, what does Jesus say? "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."

He dropped His head and said,"It is finished." What did He mean? He meant your plan of salvation was finished. God can now forgive you of all your sins because Jesus had finished God's plan of salvation for every one of you. God says He knew your name before you were born and when He was on that cross He thought of you. He loved you enough to stay on the cross. Was there ever such a love as that? Not only did He die, but He rose again. The resurrection of Jesus Christ was the greatest news the world has ever known - because now we have the opportunity for reconciliation with our creator God. He is alive today and can give you life if you put your trust in Him.

We demonstrate faith every day - when we get in a car, fly in a plane, use a seat belt, in our relationships, in banks, in the government.  Now I beg you to take the same faith, and put it into Jesus Christ and you will know who He is. He will come into your life and into your heart and you will know He is who He claims to be. You can put it off or you can receive Him. If you do; you will go to heaven, your sins will be forgiven, and you will begin a relationship with the God who gave you life and enjoy Him forever. He can not only be seen in the majesty of His Creation around us but in the lives of those who He transforms every day. I pray you will be one of them.

Sometimes we close the book too early and we don't finish reading. Unfortunately, so many people have lost their life because they didn't finish reading their own stories that God wrote for them. They closed the book thinking "this is it, there's nothing else to it, I already know what is going to happen in the end". Friend, that is not true. Keep your book open, do not close it too soon. You have a story and God sees you where you are. Open God's word, discover the truth, and put your faith in Jesus Christ. He is the true God, the way, the truth, and the life - and no one comes to God but through Him.

I challenge you to listen to the message of Jesus yourself - learn what He did, what He said, the way He described our world and human depravity. I praise the Lord God Almighty for reaching down to a lowly wretch like me and calling me to Himself by convicting me of my sin by the power of the Holy Spirit and giving me the gift of faith, the faith needed to come to Him through Jesus for salvation. I can attest to the saving power of Jesus Christ, for without Him I would have been lost forever, with no hope, away from God.

Please feel free to use the resources on this website that I have found helpful and align with scripture. I will continue to add to them as I learn more.

"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect" (1 Peter 3:15).
